Fun in the Keystone State
Kandi Robbins traveled into Pennsylvania to attend The Keystone Conference held at The Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg, the state’s capital. Today she reports on how the conference turned out.

Kandi is married with two grown daughters. Her wife is fully supportive. Under normal circumstances, she goes out usually three times a week, either to her church, as a volunteer or to do what women do! She volunteers for over 25 organizations and makes no apologies about who she is and has found complete acceptance by the general public.
Are We Our Own Worst Enemies?
Today Kandi Robbins makes the case for ladylike behavior when we’re out in public. She eschews overly aggressive attire or behavior and encourages making a positive impression on members of the general public that we may interact with, even those who only see us for a few moments as they pass by. She cautions against being loud and trying to be the center of attention but what if that’s someone’s goal? Should we strive to be demure and blend in with the crowd or do we proudly proclaim our trans nature? Read on and make up your own mind.
Coping
Kandi Robbins spent many years in the closet using many strategies to cope with the stress of hiding her feminine side. Work and being a good husband and father took up a lot of time. Facebook Hates You
Facebook is a great tool for connecting people with similar interests but for the trans community, from drag queens to crossdressers and other gender designations Facebook isn’t doing all it could. Their “real name” policy first impacted the drag community. Queens put up pages using their drag name and Facebook took them down. Now our own Kandi Robbins has had her page canceled because she can’t prove who she is to Zuck’s minions. Causing Kandi to feel that Facebook hates us.
Kandi’s Busy Month
if there’s one thing you can say about Kandi Robbins it’s that she is busy, busy, busy. October saw her modeling bridal gowns in two bridal shows. She was selected to be Miss December in a calendar, and she had an online conversation with Tom Hanks. I’m Published!
Not one to hide her light under a bushel Kandi Robbins gets out and about and is happy to meet and great. That’s how she began doing fashion modeling. She met Jackie Bertolette of Ohio Fashion Week and was invited me to walk her show. That lead to walking in two other shows, including in New York, for Victoria Henley. Today we have photos from Kandi’s magazine appearances and shots of some of the outfits she wore in the shows, along with excerpts of her interview with ALM Magazine.

Despite the oppressive pandemic Kandi Robbins managed to make the most of last year in crossdressed activities. Photo shoots, background acting, flying en femme. . . Kandi did all that. Things I Have Learned

Acceptance
Will we ever have a society that accepts everyone who is different? Kandi Robbins doesn’t think so. She feels that if you are looking for acceptance from the general public regarding your need to crossdress it’s not going to happen. Instead of seeking acceptance try doing what makes you feel good and don’t worry about what people think.
Changing Minds One At a Time
Who was that model walking three designers at Ohio Fashion Week’s Black Tie Gala? It’s none other than our own Kandi Robbins. Designer Victoria Henley wasn’t one of those Kande was supposed to walk for but Ms. Henley met Kandi and drafted her into her portion of the show on the spot. That night made quite an impression on Kandi and she hopes her being there helped transgender visibility in a good way.
Things I Have Done!

Feeling The Love
Kandi attends an art exhibit opening and after having fun there decides to extend her Kandi time by stopping at a local watering hole she has visited before. Will her visit there be more fun or not? We don’t want to give away too much in this teaser but, yes. She has a lot of fun meeting new people and accepting compliments from strangers.
The Way It Used To Be
How many times has your desire to wear women’s clothing made you anxious and obsessed? How often have you seen a woman wearing a certain shoe, or a dress that you can’t stop thinking about? Many of us have been there. Sometimes to the point at which the attraction to feminine clothing interferes with our daily lives. Kandi Robbins has been there. Done that. Today she writes about what it was like suppressing her feminine desires when she was in the closet.
Life Means Choices
Kandi Robbins shares parts of an email from a trans friend who wonders how Kandi seems to exhibit the same feelings about being femme as they do but chooses to go the two lifestyles route, dressing when time allows but staying in the male roles within her family.
