One day at work Savannah, worried that her employee and friend Sara has not shown up for two days, calls Sara’s cell number only to learn she has been the victim of a sexual assault. Bill wants to help with the trial of the young man who was apprehended after the attack. It results in Savannah seeing a side of Bill that she had never met.

Bill and Savannah have now been together for nearly three years and were more in love than ever. Bill took her out for a gourmet dinner at the Skyline Club. The couple talked, dined, and danced. As he knelt before her he said he had something to ask her.
Savannah and her beau Bill continue to have fun together and are both falling in love. Their life is a whirl of work, fine dining, formal affairs and pleasure. In Chapter 11 we join Amy and Jennifer after time has passed and their little girl is about to enter puberty. Andria is at that stage of development when parents become an embarrassment and young, not-yet-women, start paying attention to boys. And to their own bodies changing. Now Andria is looking in the mirror everyday to evaluate her progress to womanhood.
Savannah has been dating Bill regularly for two months. Every time they are together Bill is a perfect gentleman who treats Savannah as a perfect lady. But, gentle readers, surely you wonder when the happy couple will do more to advance their romance than simply hold hands and soft kisses.
