The only way to put a stop to the erosion of our rights is to vote progressive and liberal candidates into office to actually represent the people. Vote, help others to vote. A Letter to the Editor From Pauline Estelle
Our Contributor Pauline Estelle learned of an incident that took place at a Canadian university in 2017. A university psychology professor was set to appear on a panel with three others to talk about political correctness. Due to the reputation of the professor as a conservative who is the antithesis of progressive thought the other panel members dropped out. The professor went on alone and was eventually shouted off the stage by the students. This got Pauline Estelle riled up. We agree that shouting someone off stage is not good, you also have to consider the reputation of the man they shouted down.

Michelle Rogers is a conservative but she has had it. It is obvious that the continual attacks on transgender persons in the political arena by the Religious Right are aimed at one of our rights after another. Their attacks have no basis if facts but are all “fake news” meant to rile people up over the existence of transgender people. Today Michelle expresses how she feels up the continual introduction of bills designed to make life harder for trans people than it already is.

Preteens, Pronouns, Millennials & Making a Difference as an Ally
Eden Carlsen moderates a teen girls discussion group. They talk at length about LGBTQ+ categories and issues. Eden writes today about the way her discussion group really digs in and looks at what it’s like for other people who are not comfortable being pushed toward societal expectations. Something as simple as the group members learning to respect other people’s pronouns gives Eden hope for a more accepting future.
