Time to check out the menu at Dina’s Diner! This week Dina has an appetizer made with a couple of complementary ingredients she culled from our TWIT column. One is the multi-year lawsuit over whether a trans woman could use the women’s facility at work. She won. The other is a man who just likes to wear skirts and dresses and is fully supported by his employer. Then Dina visits Reddit and the subreddit for crossdressing. Some of the ladies there are scrumpdillyicious. Then she heats up some strippers protesting a ban against their line of work, seasons it with a woman whose art is recreating the fashion looks of days gone by, and ending with a suggestion for a timely Halloween costume idea. One would think that Dina’s Diner would offer lighter fare for the summer but today’s menu shows that Dina is dedicated to providing major brain nutrition to all her customers. Instead of some cold soup or a wimpy salad Dina goes right to the most flavorful and satisfying entrees. She mixes up transgender Olympians with bridal makeovers that will amaze and then mixes in corsetry and female soldiers marching in black stilettos. She wraps up with a solid dessert in the form of a former Miss Bum Bum Contest participant who has gone wrong. Check out Dina’s Diner for a full meal of fun.

Trans Spirituality — Juneteenth Edition
Rabbah Rona Matlow says we must do better. Better at educating people about the contributions to society from marginalized communities. She makes the point, just after Juneteenth is made a federal holiday, that many of the contributions of Black people are either accepted without acknowledging the race of the person who contributed or who they were is not mentioned at all.
Life Means Choices
Kandi Robbins shares parts of an email from a trans friend who wonders how Kandi seems to exhibit the same feelings about being femme as they do but chooses to go the two lifestyles route, dressing when time allows but staying in the male roles within her family. Finally Out and About
Here comes the sun and the bad old days are done. Well, not entirely but at least the increased vaccinations have made it possible for people, including our Sophie Lynne, to get out and socialise a bit. After a year or more of isolating and distancing it could just be time to have fun again. Sophie blogs about that and how supporting those places that provide social interaction for trans folks is a good idea.

Two years ago Rabbah Rona Matlow published a paper with evidence showing that interfering with gender transition is prohibited by Jewish Law. Ze provided evidence such as the National Trans Discrimination Survey, other sociological research, and then went to texts in the Torah, Talmud and Shulhan Arukh (Code of Jewish Law) which show that “saving a life overrides all biblical laws!”
