Violence against trans women of color continues. The Montana legislature has two anti-trans bills on their agenda. Alabama and Mississippi seek to ban medical treatments for trans minors. North Dakota bans trans athletes from school sports. A judge in Alabama rules that trans people don’t need to provide proof of affirmation surgery to change their legal gender. A photo purporting to be a trans woman participating in the riot at the Capital proves to be fake. A trans woman power lifter is suing USA Powerlifting over regulations that keep her from competing. Angelica Ross is slated to appear in American Horror Story 10. The pandemic benefitted some trans people who could be themselves 24/7 during quarantine and were able to come out as trans. Bollywood seems to want to be inclusive of trans people but continues to cast cis males in trans women roles. A designer from India comes out as trans. The U.S. House of Representatives has adopted the use of gender-neutral terms. Violence against trans women of color continues. Two of the contestants from RuPaul’s Drag Race helped get out the vote in Georgia. Trans people are being studied so much that they are getting research fatigue. Eddie Izzard praises Laverne Cox and Caitlyn Jenner for opening doors. Canada’s Drag Race is renewed for a second season. Children in Britain and Wales will no longer be able to get puberty blockers.
