In Chapter 35 of My Life as Savannah Bill proposed marriage. Savannah accepted and after a conference with Savannah’s family in which he was informed of the nature of her childhood, wedding planning commenced.

Trans News Now 5/1/23
Legislation and judges placing a hold on legislation is ongoing. The DOJ sues Tennessee over its ban on gender affirming care. Zooey Zephyr, the one member of the Montana legislature who has first hand experience of gender affirming care, is banned from the floor of the House. Seven protestors are arrested following her banishment. The governor of Montana has a non-binary child but says that won’t keep him from signing the legislature’s anti-trans bill. Many drag queens go to the state capital to protest Florida’s new drag law. Hunter Schafer stars in the next Hunger Games movie. Evil Dead Rise features a trans male actor. Dylan Mulvaney speaks for the first time after the Bud Light kerfuffle. The Victoria branch of Australia’s Green Party will remove any member not willing to support a certain degree of transgender rights. The right wing is displaying downright paranoia over transgender people. We continue to see record numbers of attacks against trans people in the US. As a result of this, some trans activists urge trans people to arm themselves for self-defense. Why do conservatives engage in attacks, both legislative and physical? Where Went ‘The Road Not Taken’?
On her way to appear as a guest speaker at a support group meeting Linda’s friend Sally was mulling over topics for her presentation. She was listening to public radio while she drove and was inspired by the on-air discussion of Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken. She made discussion of attendees “road not taken” the subject for the night. While several of the ladies told their stories Sally grew afraid that no one would open up with a truly juicy tale of their “road not taken”. Then Melissa raised her hand. Her story is NSFW.

Living With It
Liberty Storer met Bill nine years ago. He told her of his desire to crossdress and she accepted it as kinky adult fun—even his fantasies of sex with men while crossdressed. When he proposed marriage she accepted and it wasn’t until later that she learned he was putting them both at risk of STDs and other threats by acting out his fantasies in secret. Many, at this point, would walk away. In today’s post Liberty goes in to why they stay married. Keep in mind, being a rat in a relationship is a separate issue from being a crossdresser. Research Study Needs Trans Women
TGF has been contacted by a researcher at Harvard who is conducting a study on how feminizing hormones affect heart and metabolic health. They are looking for transgender women from around the U.S. to participate. Participants will be compensated. Read on for more information.

The Same, But Different
After a major life transition Christy Lewis feels she is still the same person she was before transition. Her past matters; it formed her present, and guides her future. People that have known her before and after transition still recognize the same person despite the different outward appearance. Christy feels “It’s the same, but different” implies continuity.
Chapter 35 – He Proposed
Bill and Savannah have now been together for nearly three years and were more in love than ever. Bill took her out for a gourmet dinner at the Skyline Club. The couple talked, dined, and danced. Savannah enjoyed it as another beautiful evening with Bill. Then he got up from his seat, came around the table with a small box in his hand. As he knelt before her he said he had something to ask her.
