Autumnal Change
The march from summer into fall and eventually to winter has a tendency to bring some people down. The falling leaves and the colder temperatures don’t evoke the pleasures that can be found in fall. For some it brings on depression. Sophie Lynne sees the world sliding into the autumn and she feels like this year we should seize the change and turn it positive by working to educate, agitate and make the world better for trans people.
Culling Your Closet — Part 2
Many trans folk have gone through the experience of purging their femme clothing in an attempt to deny their true nature. Of course this never works as the urge does not go away and you have to hit the stores again to rebuild. Often after crossdressers learn their lesson and realize they should keep their wardrobe intact they don’t take the time for a “controlled purge.” They accumulate, just like GG ladies, too many clothes that they will never, ever wear. The Dating Pool

DNC Summer Meeting From a LGBT Perspective
The Democratic National Committee (DNC) held its Summer meeting from August 27 -29 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since next year is a presidential election year, this meeting featured a “meet the candidates” session, as four of the announced candidates. Our political correspondent Babs Casbar Siperstein was there and reports on the meeting from and LGBT perspective.
TGF Re-Run: Flaming Youth

Today we learn all about Candis Cayne, hear about Dr. Drew’s shows devoted to trans issues and get informed about a new Stonewall movie that has the trans community up in arms. There are several stories about trans women from around the world. There is some criticism of The NYT’s coverage of trans issues but they did a cover article on Phyllis Randolph Frye. Wayne Brady will be the next to don the Kinky Boots. A Walk on the Wild Side video has surfaced. All that and a lot more is waiting for you in TWIT!
Dina’s Diner 8/21/15
The grill down at Dina’s Diner is heated up and ready to cook up some new dishes with ingredients gleaned from the press. Today Dina brings us Caitlyn costumes, gender-nuetral clothing, and a McDonald’s worker who is becoming a star. She also throws in some lightly sautéed musings on whether greater visibility for trans folk means CDs have more trouble passing. And some breast reduction for a TV star rounds out the menu. Where? What Next?
Is too much diversity a bad thing when the transgender community is fighting for rights? Does the umbrella of transgender confuse people when they find everyone one from Caitlyn Jenner to weekend crossdressers standing under it? Christine Burr is concerned that it could be the case that the non-trans public won’t be interested in helping us since they can’t figure our who “us” is, leaving her asking “What Next?”

Christine’s Journey 8/15
Christine Zee has embarked on her gender journey. She is moving toward living full time in her preferred gender and she is documenting the steps along the way in this blog.
