John J. WarrenerJohn Warrener, the owner of the Glamour Boutique in Auburn, Massachusetts and the TGFashions website, passed away on June 19, 2015. He established one of the first trans oriented websites in 1996 and then opened brick and mortar stores in Auburn, Las Vegas, and Studio City, California catering to the clothing and accessories needs of the trans and crossdressing communities.

In 2007 he sold the Glamour Boutique website and after a five year break mandated by a “no compete’ clause in the sale contract,  came back into the business in 2012 with  TGFashions.com.

John Warrener was born in Providence, RI in 1952. He grew up in Seekonk, MA and worked several jobs to put himself through college and then graduate school. He earned a doctorate in music education and was a friend of Jim Nabors and Tony Orlando. He taught music for over 35 years and was a singer, musician and entertainer who participated in and created many shows and theatrical productions.

Warrener is best known among the trans community for his retail enterprises that provided trans women and crossdressers with clothing, accessories, and fashion advice. He received the First Event 2015 Community Service Award.

It’s said that while he was undergoing chemo therapy he volunteered to come to the Tiffany Club’s 2014 Christmas party to be their Santa Claus. Though weakened by the effects of the chemo he gave out hearty “ho, ho , ho’s” and was quite the jolly old elf. He is missed by the many people whose lives he touched both through his boutiques and his music and entertainment pursuits.

I for one will say thank you, thank you for all you’ve done for us. All of us, I can’t believe no one has left a comment. Bless you John for everything that you’ve done and helped with the people in our community who used your services but if it wasn’t for you that would’ve been one less place for us to go.

20 years ago we didn’t have the Internet, The excess ability that we do today. For those of you that have been around and are not 20 years old with the decision to go ahead and change your gender at this early age fully understands what I’m talking about. We had to hide, we would never think twice as far as the games that we have made today with some of the women like Brianna Austin, My God, just to name one. Angela your another one.
The list goes on and on.

I am having problems doing this on my phone,I hope any of you read comment
chime in. John, Thank You XO?
