Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signs into law the state’s extension of anti-discrimination legislation, which protects against discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. New Mexico has also passed legislation amending its anti-discrimination law. Suspects have been arrested in several recent trans victim murder cases.
