Meanwhile a new report says there aren’t that many LGBTQ students participating in school sports. RuPaul’s Drag Race won an Emmy for outstanding competition program. The High Court in the U.K. has ruled that people under the age of 16 are capable of making a decision about starting puberty blockers. Utah’s Supreme Court ruled that trans people have a right to change the gender marker on their birth certificates. The state legislature is moving to pass a law denying trans people that right. A trans corrections officer won the right to use the ladies’ restroom at work and the state of Iowa is appealing. A trans man in Canada thought he was putting on weight during the pandemic lockdown but he actually had grown a giant tumor.
