Our heroine Kay found herself in a dark, strange corridor. She began to explore slowly and a dim glow led her a room equipped with a chair like you would find in a dentist’s office but this chair had restraints. Saws, knifes and other implements were arrayed on a table in front of the chair and as she noticed that there were “people,” mutilated and altered people, behind bars on the side of the room she was grabbed from behind and lost consciousness. Sabrina Symington’s “She” Episode 19
Our heroine had screwed up her courage, entered the bedroom and suddenly found herself locked in. Then the lights went out, the carpet underfoot transformed into cold concrete and she knew she was no longer in the bedroom. A dim glow of light led her down corridors that she had never seen before and eventually she found the light was coming from a room. In today’s episode she learns just what horror is in that room.
Retro Rerun: Jailed for Crossdressing in Public
Our Retro Rerun today comes from the TGForum Archives from 1998. TGF reader Robin Jean Peters wrote a piece titled We’ve Come A Long Way, Baby. She told our readers that no matter how oppressed they felt about the social stigma of crossdressing in 1998 it was way, way worse forty years before that. In 1958 she made the mistake of getting out of her car to just walk around the block and hear her high heels clicking on the pavement. With legislation being introduced in state legislatures around the country that is aimed at taking away transgender people’s right it seems like we are in a war. Why the sudden interest in state capitals over doctor prescribed puberty blockers? What is behind bills that would jail doctors who provided care to trans patients, and with the effort to remove protections from anti-discrimination laws? Claire Hall has some thoughts on the subject.

San Diego Imperial Court Holds XLVIII Coronation
Melanie Yarborough of Sand Diego’s Neutral Corner reports on San Diego’s Imperial Court’s 48th Annual Coronation. The Imperial Court system has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for many charities and causes. It was originally founded in San Francisco in 1965 by José Julio Sarria. The San Diego chapter of the Imperial Court was founded half a decade later in 1971. Last weekend the San Diego Court welcomed its new emperor and empress. Melanie has all the details.
The Cedar Chests, Chapter 5
“Claire” and her wife Mary Jo spent a couple of days in the city having a girlfriend weekend. Claire passed beautifully and the two girls got up to some sexy activities in places like a movie theater and the dressing room at the big department store. They even had some men buy them drinks at the hotel bar but discouraged their advances by uttering the “L” word. This chapter finds them heading on back to the farm where Claire continues to remain dressed in her femme finery.

Julie Does Burlesque
Julie Slowinski volunteered to be the dollar girl at a drag show, during Pinkfest. That’s the assistant who gathers the dollar bills fans of the drag queens toss on stage. Once she got a taste of showbiz and being on stage she was hooked. She decided she’d participate in a drag show. The only problem? She didn’t dance. So she took a beginning class in burlesque thinking she would learn how to dance. That lead her into doing a burlesque routine on stage in front of a big crowd.
