Pauline Estelle and her wife traveled to Mexico to vacation at a membership resort. Their vacation was all wonderful but it provided a respite from the weather in the Great White North. Julie Slowinski volunteered to be the dollar girl at a drag show, during Pinkfest. That’s the assistant who gathers the dollar bills fans of the drag queens toss on stage. Once she got a taste of showbiz and being on stage she was hooked. She decided she’d participate in a drag show. The only problem? She didn’t dance. So she took a beginning class in burlesque thinking she would learn how to dance. That lead her into doing a burlesque routine on stage in front of a big crowd. Back in May the ladies who make up the staff at the online silicone breast market The Breast Form Store took a trip from the Vancouver area headquarters to attend the 2019 Esprit Conference in Port Angeles, Washington. Katherine Diaz reports on a “cross night show” in her hometown, Bogota, Columbia. What’s she attends is a female impersonation show called Zapatilla Dorada.
