Every year on Halloween night Henri David, a local jeweler in Philadelphia, throws his Halloween Ball. What started as a house party in 1968 now attracts a crowd of over 2000 people in the ballroom of a downtown hotel. Among the many fantastic fantasy costumes you can always find many males in female attire. Some are just trying it out for the holiday fun and others are a bit more serious about dressing up. Here are photos from this year’s Ball.

PS: At The Ball this year Henri’s boyfriend of 17 years proposed to him on stage. Of course Henri accepted. We wish the happy couple a wonderful life together with more fabulous Henri David Halloween Balls to come.
