Be Your Own Shoe Designer?
We have to thank TGF reader Jan Brown for letting us know about a shoe website that allows you to design your own shoes. That in itself is wild enough but add to that that they do sizes up to 15 and you have a can’t lose shoe buying experience. The company is located in China and is called Onlymaker. They make both handcrafted and factory built footwear. Their standard factory made shoes are between $129 and $219 a pair with sale shoes going for between $60 to $80. You have to design your pair of shoes to get the final price but they promise free worldwide shipping within four weeks.
The website has a tool that gives you shapes and fabrics to chose from and a vast array of colors. The customer designed shoes are handcrafted and they promise that the finished product will be fashionable, comfortable and desirable.
Check out Onlymaker online and see if they may be the place where you can not only get shoes up to size 15 but possibly the place that will bring out the hidden shoe designer in you. Who says that Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin are the only ones who can design a high fashion shoe? You might be just as creative — and you get to wear the finished product.
