One for quite some time and the other one that just seemed to pop up within the past few months. The GLAAD 2016 Media Awards, which recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of LGBT people, were held last week in New York City and our own Christine Zee was on hand for the festivities. An Australian film maker working in Japan has produced a music video for a song by Robyn Loau titled “Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime.” The video stars a trans woman and her Japanese girlfriend and tells the story of how the trans woman came out to her girlfriend about being trans. Well, she wasn’t given a name and we weren’t told whether she was pretty or young.
