As we mentioned in the news, the Trump administration released a new counterterrorism strategy, and an important part of it is opposing “radically pro-transgender” groups. All mention of extremist right-wing groups has been erased from the strategy, even though those groups were the focus of the previous strategy. For rewriting the strategy to ignore the threat from groups who support the administration in order to pick on the administration’s favourite targets, the Trump administration, and its “Counterterrorism czar,” Sebastian Gorka, get a TWIT. A Wisconsin school board is still deciding whether it will permit a school band to play a tribute to Marsha P. Johnson in concert. The piece is entitled, “Mother Of A Revolution,” and it is an instrumental number. Its composer, Omar Thomas, did dedicate the piece to Marsha P. Johnson. For rushing to censor as a first response, the school board gets a TWIT. This story comes from LGBTQ Nation.
