This week, President Trump delivered his State Of The Union address. President Trump pointed out an “ex-transgender” teenager among the invited guests, and hit some highlights of the teen’s story as that story is told by the teen’s parents, who are very opposed to transgender rights. This story led to a call from President Trump to attack transgender rights. President Trump said, “no state can be allowed to rip children from their parents’ arms and transition them against the parents’ will. We must ban it, and we must ban it immediately.” This is a false impression of what happened, according to Them.
