Slideshow: Halloween at Angela’s Laptop Lounge
For over five years I’ve been hosting parties in the Philadelphia area that I call Angela’s Laptop Lounge. The parties are TG centric — they’re for us, and others can come but it’s first and foremost a TG party. I got tired of having to go to a gay club to have fun or go to a straight club and possibly put up with ignorant attitudes. The alternative was driving up to New York City for the TG parties there but that’s two hours or more on the highway — each way. So starting a party in Philadelphia (which moved to the suburbs after a few months in the city) seemed like a good idea.
It has proven to be a good idea and here are some photos from my latest party, just last Saturday, which is the first Halloween party we’ve had at the Laptop Lounge that fell on the Halloween weekend. Two of our TGF columnists were in attendance. See if you can spot them in the pix. (JoAnn did not make the party as she was doing last minute prep work for her Beauty And The Beach weekend.) Enjoy!
