Idealism comes back and bites me in the ass.

hm4.JPGI’ve been on this anti-photo kick lately.  Simply put, I’ve left the camera at home the last few times I’ve gone out.  And there are a lot of good reasons behind the decision:

1. It’s an expensive thing, and some day, someone at the bar is going to walk off with it.

2. It’s so cliche to have a bunch of crossdressers standing around taking pictures.  Is that how we want the world to see us?

3.  I look awful anyway.  Do I really need more pictures of me looking bloated and horrid?

Well, this little bit of idealism has now come back to get me.  I’m planning on going out Thursday night, but because it’s been so long since my last outing, I can’t remember what I wore that night, and there are no pictures to show me!

And, since that last outing was when Linda Jensen came to town, I have nothing to show for it.  Blast my and my philosophical stances!

Gosh, I have to agree! You don’t see GG everywhere taking photos of themselves! I never carry a camera and I have to admit, that’s probably because I’ve been 24/7 since high school and I just don’t see the thrill of it.

Sure, take a photo(s) of yourself before you go out…but leave the camera at home! It’s a dead giveaway.
