Cake or Death

We stayed up late the other night to watch the new show, The Riches on FX.  It’s a good program, but I probably wouldn’t have gone out of my way to watch had it not been for Eddie Izzard.

Eddie plays the matriarch of a band of American gypsies.  His family consists of con artists who find themselves pulling off the biggest act of their lives: pretending to be normal.

The youngest son seems to be gender gifted, but they haven’t explored that fully yet.  (Give it time.  There’s only been one episode.)

Eddie rose to fame as a crossdressing standup comedian, but with more and more acting jobs coming his way, will he turn his back on his gender-bending ways?  I doubt it.  He’s just branched out, and is showing the world his versatility.

Kudos, Eddie!  For not being a one-trick pony, and for being a great ambassador from our community to the rest of the world!
