David de Alba, the last member of Finocchio’s cast of fabulous female impersonators to still be performing, is doing it again this November at The Onyx Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show happens on November 11 and it is a tribute to Judy Garland. While he was rehearsing for the show David de Alba, legendary female impersonator, was visited by legendary entertainer and oddball of the disco era, none other than Disco Tex of Disco Tex and his Sex-O-Lettes, also know as Monti Rock III. Readers of a certain age will remember Monti’s appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. While Monti wasn’t transgendered he was certainly flamboyant and helped some of us to know there were other lifestyles to explore. Monti now lives in Las Vegas and writes for a local paper. He brought David a bouquet and interviewed him for his column. Here are the pictures to prove it.
