Conservatives fell for a story which said that Disney is turning Mickey Mouse transgender. The story came from Mouse Trap News, which claims to be “Real Disney news that is 100% fake.” For falling for a self-proclaimed fake news site, these conservatives, who called for a boycott, get a TWIT. LGBTQ Nation.

In a debate against her primary opponent, Senator Darlene Graham Nordone was asked, “Senator, are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security threats?” her response was, “I’m just going to be honest here. I have not — on national security that — I’m not that informed on national security, so. . . .” The next day, when she was asked about it, she admitted she “tripped” on the question, but said that it didn’t matter, because she’s not a politician. She added, “I think people in South Carolina are more worried about making ends meet. They’re concerned about boys in girls’ sports” Literally, she thinks that the issues are the economy–which is certainly under the control of Republicans–and transgender sports. For dragging transgender people into a debate question she handled badly, Senator Darlene Graham Nordone gets a TWIT. This story comes from LGBTQ Nation.

Pro Publica reports that Republicans in Missouri are attempting to trick voters into passing a near-total abortion ban by pairing it with a constitutional amendment to ban transgender minors from getting gender-affirming care. Missouri already has a ban on gender-affirming care for minors. For attempting to tie an issue which they already dealt with through legislation to an issue on which they wish to overturn the will of the voters, Missouri Republicans get a TWIT.
