As we noted in the news, former NBA players Royce White and Enes Kanter Freedom, have declared themselves to be “women for the purposes of basketball,” and have asked to be included in the 2027 WNBA draft. Both players have reached the point in their careers where they are no longer employed by sports organizations. For attempting to take advantage of a lack of specificity in the eligibility requirements, and for attempting to make themselves the story, Royce White and Enes Kanter Freedom get a TWIT. When Anne Hathaway showed up for the End Of Oak Street premiere five months pregnant and showing off her baby bump, the usual wags who can “always tell” who is actually transgender pounced on her, declaring it a “fake pregnant belly.” For bad investigative techniques and zero evidence, these transvestigators get a TWIT. A group of transgender men held a protest in a ladies’ room in Kansas. The law requires transgender people to use public restrooms according to their “biological sex,” which means transgender men should be in the ladies’ room. Yet, when that happened, police were called in. For complaining about exactly what the law requires, those complaining about the protest get a TWIT. LGBTQ Nation has this story.
