New York and Vermont have joined the lawsuit against the discontinuation of Medicaid funding for gender-affirming care. This brings the number of states who have joined the lawsuit to 21. Erin Reed has this story at Erin In The Morning.

Libraries in Alabama are rushing to pull books about transgender people from general circulation, to restrict them to where only adults can see them. The libraries are attempting to follow a new law, accccording to WAFF-TV News.

We mentioned last week a new study by the Department of Health and Human Services, which argues that supporters of transgender rights are more likely to approve of political violence. The 19th contacted some experts who read the report. They say that the questions used in the study were biased, often unethical, and poorly crafted. The study often confused correlation with causality.
