Mark Gatiss

Mark Gatiss, now known for writing for Doctor Who and writing and playing Mycroft Holmes in the BBC Sherlock from 2010 to 2017 got his start in acting as part of a comedy group called The League of Gentlemen. The group started onstage and went to the BBC where they produced three seasons of the series of the same name. All of the characters on the series, male and female, were played but the all male group members. Gatiss is pictured here.
