Has Your Email Changed Since You Registered?
If you registered on TGForum sometime ago and your email address has changed be sure that you go to your Profile Details and update your email address. Your email address is used to send you notifications when someone makes a Friend Request, it’s used for Password Resets, and to notify you if someone has responded to a comment you made. If your email isn’t correct you will not get these important notices. We get several email bounces a week caused by people with bad email addresses in the system who are trying to reset their password. To do that they need to click on a link in the email that they are not getting. Since we don’t have their good address we can’t even let them know. So, if you have changed your email address go to the black menu bar, put your cursor over MyTGForum, pick Profiles from the drop down menu, then Profile Details. Enter your new email address and click Save at the bottom of the page. Then you will be in the loop and getting all the notifications sent out by the system.
