It’s been a busy time in the GLBT arena.  In Washington, the “fundies” call for a vote on an amendment banning same-sex marriage.  They lost, but you have to wonder about the timing: It is Pride month after all.

In Houston, a TS has come out of the closet, and hopes to keep her job.  Now that is keeping with the spirit of Pride.

And in NYC, a drag queen won’t be able to host a closing party because of injuries.

So, to tally up: one cop, one wounded queen, four in custody, 49 Senators smart enough to recognize bullshit, and 48 who need to get out of Washington.
