Beginning in January 2011, access to TGForum will be free, as will access to our Chat room, Bulletin Board and every other TGF resource. You will still need to be registered if you want to make comments, but there will be no fee involved. We will be doing a redesign of the site between now and January so there may be slight service interruptions at times. We will also be upgrading the system software that runs TGF and hope to bring you new and more up to date services and resources later in the year. For example, those of you with Facebook and Twitter accounts can be notified automatically whenever there is a new post at TGF.

Also beginning in mid-December we will no longer provide email service nor personal web hosting. There are many free services on the Net that can be used and we simply can no longer afford the service fees nor the maintenance. So, if you have a personal website at TGF and/or use the TGF email service, you have until December 15th to find a new service. All email and websites will be terminated on December 16th.

One other item. If you have a Pictorial somewhere on TGForum that you would not want the general public to see, then let either myself or Angela Garnder know and we will delete that Pictorial. If you have a Personal Ad that you don’t want public, then please delete it before January 2011.

What we’re not changing is the best group of writers at any TG site on the Net. TGF will continue to publish weekly as we have since its inception in 1994.

Best Regards

About the Author ()

I am a writer, editor and educator. I was one of the 5 founders of the Renaissance Transgender Education Assoc., and have served on the boards of IFGE and AEGIS. I've published several books on CD/TS/TG subjects. My how-to books are available at the CDS Bookstand (www.cdspub.com). I am most proud of "Coping With Crossdressing: Tools and Strategies for Couples in Committed Relationships". I was an early TG political activist and one of the co-founders of GenderPAC. I wrote and published a Bill of Gender Rights in December 1990. I've appeared on several television shows and in the movie "All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go". I published "LadyLike" magazine for 18 years, as well as "EnFemme" magazine and "International TranScript". (JoAnn passed away in June of 2013.)

    JoAnn,
This seems like a real improvement for all – including those that weren’t able to subscribe before. Thanks for managing the site so well, and thanks to Angela, my editrix, for allowing me to continue to write here.
