Ackerman Institute’s Gender & Family Project: TDoV Virtual Workshop

The Gender & Family Project is partnering with NYC Anti-Violence Project to offer a one-hour training on up-stander intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning for those supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive youth.
In this one-hour sessions, you’ll learn:
- Practical ways to tep in sfately during moments of harassment
- De-escalation techniques to support TGNB youth
- Simple, real life safety planning for events and community spaces.
This virtual event is being offered as a pay-what-you-wish in an effort to ensure as many families as possible can access the workshop.

- Cultural competency trainings on gender diversity for organizations, corporations and staff
