A Fall TG Weekend in Michigan
The Dunes Resort, the “Midwest’s largest GLBT Resort & Entertainment Complex” is “proud to be the place to come and be who you want to be.” If you are looking for a Midwest transgender friendly getaway this fall the Dunes Resort, near the sister communities of Saugatuck/Douglas, MI, may be the place for you to spend the night, the weekend or longer.
While TGs are welcome at the Dunes any time of the year, in the fall they host their annual Fall TG Weekend. October 3 — 5. They call it “A great weekend of meeting and greeting others from around the Midwest.”
If traveling from your Midwest community to Atlanta, New Jersey or some other distant spot to enjoy a weekend of femme fun is too much this gathering at Michigan’s GLBT hotspot may be perfect for you. The Dunes’ PR man told TGF two things: “It’s a very social weekend with great entertainment.” and “It often sells out so advance reservations are encouraged.”
The Dunes has several bars, a nightclub and cabaret and they promise special entertainment for the TG weekend
