Christine-Jane poked gentle fun at the crossdressing community's foibles and fears for many years. Her cartoons have appeared in many community publications. She is a native of England. She passed away in February of 2016. She is survived by her wife.
Has this ever happened to me? Not specifically this, no … but something similar has.
Back in my wig-wearing days, I booked a place at an organised tranny weekend in Blackpool, England. On the Saturday afternoon, I joined up with a group of girls, and took a tram to the funfair a couple of kilometres along the seafront to ride the rollercoasters.
One of the rides had an upside-down loop, during which my wig fell off, and floated to the ground twenty metres below. It was retrieved and returned by a very polite attendant … fortunately still in a wearable condition.
