What To Do While Dressed
Let’s see… you just got dressed up and cannot think of a single thing to do? Here’s a brief excerpt from the non-existent list of 1001 things to do while crossdressed:
- Phone one or several of your friends and, without telling them how you’re dressed, carry on a conversation in your female persona. Friends who know about your female persona would be best to call. Bonus points for calling a random number and speaking as your female persona.
- Take pictures of you in your outfit and post on the social networks for your crossdressing friends to see! Make a video of yourself modeling your outfit of the day/night or talking about something interesting!
- Go and get your ears pierced. Maybe your belly button too! That is, if you are adventurous.
- Take a bike ride in appropriate clothing, including a bra, wig, sunglasses, and of course, a bicycle helmet (safety first).
- Cook an elegant dinner for a friend who knows about your dressing — an evening with wine and candles, all done in a most ladylike manner.
- Go shopping! Visit some department stores and/or outlets and try dresses, heels, and whatever else catches your eye!
- Arrange to have a professional photographer take elegant pictures of you en femme that you will keep for a lifetime.
- Go to the periodical reading room of your library and browse through a copy of Glamour or Elle. Read a novel, a science book, or a self-help book if you like.
- Phone a women’s apparel chain and verbally place an order. Ask detailed questions about sizing, colors, etc…
- Go to the movies en femme. Bonus point for going to an opera theater in the right formal clothes.
- Walk a hiking trail, dressed as a female hiker.
- Here’s a really silly one: Visit an ATM machine at your local bank or major store en femme. During the transaction, ask yourself: “Is this machine taking a picture of me?”
- Order food by phone. Be fully dressed when the delivery person comes.
- Bring your female clothing to the cleaners to be cleaned or the tailor to be adjusted.
Sing a song, make up a dance, have a fashion show if you will… Strut, dance, sing, scream, do whatever you like! Be a girl who wants to have fun!

What a great list. I have done a few of them. Went to the cinema, clothing shopping, trying on dresses. The night at the opera! That was wonderful. Sadly here in Melbourne they don’t seem to do the dress up for the opera which is a shame, I settled for a LBD and a nice jacket.
If I might add something. This idea might be confronting. Ring a friend who doesn’t know you are trans and just talk about your day, describing what you did in detail and the clothing!!!
Or regarding social media. How about adding your female FB I.D. to your male FB as a friend?
