Right. It’s time for TGForum’s Monday Edition. We begin today with The Week In Transgenderism, ably assembled by our News Editor Ronnie Rho. Ronnie has scoured the Web with painstaking attention to detail to procure the finest transgender news in the world and put the links to it all in one place we call TWIT. Ronnie has found everything from reaction to the new Lady Gaga song with the T word in the lyrics, to the story of another TG golfer on the links, to the Spanish TS socialist who’s got a shot at office, and a whole lot more. As we consistently admonish — don’t miss your TWIT!

Pamela DeGroff and her Perpetual Change column are with us this Monday Edition featuring a review of FtM singer/guitarist StormMiguel Florez’s CD Long Lost Sun. Pamela interviewed FlorezĀ  last month and this week she gives a review of his album. The album, essentially a live recording self produced by Florez, showcases a talent that captures elements of Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin. How does he do it? Read Pamela’s review of the CD along with some capsule reviews of other new music in this month’s Perpetual Change.

Rounding out our major offerings this week we present transgender fiction from Sophie Lynne. Ogre was a manly frat rat with no respect for women. After he tosses his latest girlfriend out she wishes that he could know what it’s like to feel like a woman. And someone, something, heard her. Soon Ogre is undergoing a strange transformation. Is it happening because he tried some steriods? Or is it some strange magic? Whatever it is soon he’s going to have to move out of the frat house and find a nice sorority. Want to know more about what’s going on? Read Crying For Ogre, Part 3.

Did you know that transgender employees or their employers may get a letter from the Social Security Administration informing them that their gender doesn’t match what the SSA has on record? Yes, that can happen and it can be a major problem to people who have transitioned and are not out in the workplace. The National Center for Transgender Equality is working on it and they need your help. Read Gotten a “gender no-match” letter?

That’s what we’ve got on tap for this week. Enjoy!
