Twit Awards for the Week 7/1/24
After being told by a judge that the state’s lack of a ban on transgender athletes is the law in New York, the Nassau County legislature passed the bill. For not taking a judge’s word as law, the Nassau County Legislature gets a Twit Award. CBS News has this tory.
The New York Times published a story in which emails seem to show that members of the Biden administration pressured medical groups to recommend gender-confirming surgeries for minors. However, according to LGBTQ Nation the emails were edited by an anti-trans activist. Assuming that the emails were indeed edited, The Times fell for edited emails, they get a Twit Award.
An opinion piece in Newsmax bears the headline, “What Does Science Have To Do With Transgender Politics? Nothing.” Unfortunately, science has nothing to do with the alleged evidence in this article. For failing to use science to defeat science, Newsmax gets a Twit Award.
