GR8LegsNJParticipantHello everyone!!! My name is Randi and I have been ttransitioned for over 20 years. Hi Angela, it has been a long time since we have spoken. I do believe the last time we met was on Locust in Philly. I do miss folks from the old days. But back to the topic at hand. When I transitioned I did it by the numbers, and with a plan, sort of a business plan. I knew in what order I wanted to meet goals. At the time I was a direct sales person whose clients were Fortune 500 companies. I usually wore a 3pc suit, shirt, power tie and wingtip shoes. When I transitioned my style did not change. My suits became skirt suits or dresses, my wingtips became pumps. I did not lose one client in the process. All everyone wanted was my new business card with my new name so purchase orders would be made out correctly. Today I am employed by a company that truly believes in diversity. However I have never discosed my past as when I was hired, I was already transitioned. I will tell you that my present work attire is jeans, ans company tee shirts with Keds. The last time I wore make-up was for my son’s wedding, 2 years ago. I am in a very good pplave mentally and am hoping to retire at the end of next year. I will however offer advice to those seeking it, but please do not wasate my time if you are not serious. I had reached a point in my life where I was going to make the pain of living a false life to go away. I receeived divine help, whuch is the only way I can describe the events. For those who enjoy crossdressing, please never say “I am only a crossdresser” when meeting someone who identifies as trans. There is nothing wrong with crossdressing and it is not less than being transgender.
