The American Psychological Association announced this week that they have adopted a resolution which further announces their belief that gender-affirming care for transgender children produces the best results. The press release for this is at the APA web site.
PFLAG has filed a lawsuit against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, to block him from obtaining the information he has demanded on transgender children who are receiving medical care. The Hill has this story.

A bill in the Missouri state legislature would charge a teacher with a felony for using a transgender student’s name and pronouns, and would register that teacher as a sex offender. Mother Jones reports that anti-transgender bills keep mentioning The New York Times article by Pamela Paul as a justification. The article put far too much emphasis on Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria, which has never been accepted by medical groups.
Some states are pursuing legislation which defines sex as a binary. The Associated Press reports that trans people feel that their existence is being denied by these bills.
