Trans in Film & Video
Recently Caitlyn Jenner posted a strong objection to trans women participating in women’s sports to her Instagram account. The former athlete shared a clip taken from an interview she did with Piers Morgan. In that interview she said “Excited to keep it up and keep speaking out,” referring to her opposition to trans athletes. After her words hit Instagram trans actress Alexandra Billings commented “Transphobia is never a good look when it’s coming from inside your own community. I’m so sorry for you, Caitlyn.”
Jenner is also in trouble with former friend Candice Cayne. The two were often seen together sparking rumors that they were involved romantically. Cayne called Jenner a “cult member” in a recent interview. The “cult” is run by Donald Trump. Jenner consistently supported Trump since he entered politics. Now it seems she has gone full MAGA and lost the friendship of two women who were mentoring her as she learned about the transgender community.
