U.S. District Judge Danny reeves in Lexington, Kentucky, has given all school districts across the nation permission to ignore the rule on Title IX that was enacted recently by the Biden administration. The rule says that discrimination on the basis of gender identity is discrimination on the basis of sex. this rule was not going to be enforced by President-elect Trump’s Justice Department, so the ruling only speeds things up a bit. Reuters has this story.

We reported last week that the rule package for the House of Representatives did not include Rep. Nancy Mace’s proposal for a restroom ban. Truthout reports that the ban is in effect in parts of the Capitol controlled by the House of Representatives, thanks to the efforts of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed legislation which forbids school teachers from discussing LGBTQ identities, among other things. Opponents of transgender rights keep telling us about a tremendous increase in the number of young people diagnosed with gender dysphoria. So, how many Americans under the age or 25 have been diagnosed with gender dysphoria?? Fewer than 18,000, according to a new study by researchers from Harvard. Of those, fewer than 2,000 ever accessed HRT, and fewer than 1,000 ever accessed puberty blockers.
