It isn’t just in baseball that pitch matters. It’s very important that a trans person can deliver their verbal communication in a pitch that matches their gender presentation. And if you are a trans woman with a low pitched voice are you doomed to be called “sir” whenever you speak? Not necessarily. Today voice therapist Marc Mitnick talks about the pitch difference between male and female voices. Turns out it’s only half an octave difference.
