Pennsylvania’s governor vows to veto any such laws in his state. The governor of Louisiana has said he will veto a bill restricting healthcare for transgender minors. Suicide prevention groups have come out with a request for lawmakers to stop interfering with trans healthcare for minors. The AMA has urged governors to veto these bills. Restroom bans, sports bans, and banning medical treatment for trans kids—while polls show that these restrictive bills are not popular with the majority of our citizens.
