Trans Themed Film “Anything” Stirs Controversy
Guest Contributor Melanie Yarborough of Neutral Corner support group in San Diego attended San Diego’s annual LGBT film festival and saw a screening of the controversial film Anything. It’s the story of a man who loses his wife in an auto accident and moves to Los Angeles to live with a relative. Moving into his own place he meets a transgender sex worker and they connect in a complimentary way. The controversy is around the casting of a cisgender male actor in the transgender role.
