1575719.jpgThe “ga-ga” is for Lannie Rose, and how I’m “ga-ga” for her. The radio is for the notice that she’s going to be on it this week.

Lannie is a former TGForum columnist who will be appearing to talk about her latest book.

Here’s the announcement she sent me:

I thought you might be interested in hearing me on the radio next Tuesday (September 25) at noon. Wherever you are, you can listen on the Internet at this link: http://www.krxa540.com/listen

I will be appearing in studio on “The Show with Hal” on station KRXA 540 AM in Monterey, CA. “The Show with Hal” is hosted by the station’s owner, Hal Ginsberg. It will be a round-table discussion with Hal and another trans woman, and I think it’s a call-in show. I’m told I will be on for the first half of the show (noon to 12:30 Pacific Coast time).

Besides discussing transgender issues, I hope to get a chance to plug my new memoir, LANNIE! My Journey from Man to Woman. It’s the story of the five years I spent changing my sex, and it’s upbeat, funny, and full of information about being transsexual. California State Assemblyman Mark Leno called it, “A humorous and challenging journey from boyhood to womanhood.” You can preview the first four chapters of LANNIE! on my website, lannierose.com

Oh, and if you were interested, “Radio Ga-Ga” is the title of a song from the group “Queen”. Sorry if I was being obscure.
