Central Pennsylvania has a share of friendly LGBT friendly nightclubs both in the city and just outside city limits. Here’s a quick rundown:

In the Midtown District:

A cozy little LGBT bar that is very friendly to transpeople.

Stallions Club
706 N 3rd St Rear,
Harrisburg, PA 17102
Known for their Drag Performances and a progressive LBGT crowd.

Brownstone Lounge
412 Forster St,
Harrisburg, PA 17102
The Brownstone is another LGBT Bar in the Midtown District, just off beaten path a little bit.

In the Capital District (Downtown Restaurant Row):

Stocks on 2nd
211 N 2nd St,
Harrisburg, PA 17101
Stocks is considered a straight bar which is friendly to the LGBT community, local trans-support group TransCentral PA holds their after-hours meet up there regularly every second Saturday of the month.

Outside City Limits, Swatara Township:

Liquid 891/L Bar
891 Eisenhower Blvd.,
Harrisburg, PA 17111
Liquid 891 is LGBT community bar and nightclub which features two clubs in one building; Liquid 891 and Club L.  Club L features pool tables and a barroom while Liquid 891 features and DJ,  Dance floor and an Light Shows. Located just outside city limits, a safety factor is considered because the Red Roof Inn is across the street and offers low rates for lodging.
