It’s finally here! As you can see TGForum has a new dress. We’ve left our old look at the thrift shop and we’re all gussied up with a new format in anticipation of the new year when we will be opening our doors to the world. It’s taken us a while to come out of the closet but our new outfit is giving us the confidence and we’re ready for a new era of TGForum.

Today’s leap forward features The Week In Transgenderism by our News Editor Ronnie Rho. Ronnie has dug up all the TG news that search engines are capable of finding. She has the story about the boys who dressed up for a “no women” beauty  pageant to support their junior high school cheerleaders. She brings us the story on that DMV worker who dissed a TG — it seems the worker is now unemployed. There’s a peek at the owner of Virgin Airways in drag. More bathroom battles are in the news, and there’s a GLBT acting class to help GLBT actors find their motivation. All that and a whole lot more are featured in this edition of TWIT.

Pamela DeGroff joins us this week with her Perpetual Change year end wrap up. If you missed any of her reviews and interviews throughout the year Pamela gives us the highlights in this edition of Perpetual Change.

Michelle Moore has been with us for just ages with her TG History column. This Monday is her last column for TGF and she goes out with the story of America’s first gender change, Dr. Alan L. Hart, an FtM who transitioned in 1918 and went on to become a successful doctor and crusader against tuberculosis. Many thanks to Michelle for all her work! Don’t miss the inspiring story of Dr. Hart in TG History.

Rounding out our  offering for today is the beginning chapter of a story by our new contributor Sophie Lynne. In addition to the regular columns Sophie will be contributing to TGF she has allowed us to publish a piece of fiction, TG fiction of course, that she wrote. It’s got everything you could ask for in TG fiction and we’ll be presenting it over the next few months, a chapter a month. Don’t miss Crying for Ogre.

That’s it for the first full new format edition of TGF for this week. Look us over and be sure to let me know if you have questions, comments or criticisms. Enjoy!
