Mmmmmmonday! Again!
Hi one and all and welcome to the Monday morning edition of TGF. Today we begin with the popular column, This Week In Transgenderism. Miss Rho has pounded the cyber pavement and over heated her modem once again to provide the most news about TGs from all around the world. And you won’t believe what Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) has been up to. To find out you’ll just have to read this week’s TWIT.
Next we take an historic turn with a TGF Rerun from ten years ago. The premier female impersonation venue in the US, Finocchio’s, closed in November of 1999. The last night they partied like it was 1999 — ’cause it was. TGF’s Ms. Bob was there to cover the last call and she wrote about it ten long years ago. But since this year will be the 10th anniversary and it’s good to remember our TG history we bring you Finnochio’s — 10 Years Gone. (Although, while I was researching on Finocchio’s to write the intro to the Rerun, I did see a review of the club that was posted on a blog in 2005. Wishful thinking?)
Rounding out our delicacies for the day we bring you a blog by Ronnie Rho on how there just ain’t no justice in the world. When she was ten years younger she was better equipped to strut her stuff in femme style but she didn’t have any place to go. Now she’s got places to go but she’s feeling too darned worn down by the weight of years. See if you can relate to Ronnie’s Memories…
