Late Show Lampoons “Housewives” with Drag
The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon ran a pre-produced parody of the “Real Housewives” reality show on their Monday night show. The show’s male staffers all dressed in drag as their own wives to lampoon the reality series. Two standouts have to be the Late Show head writer, who seemed very in touch with his feminine side (Gee, as head writer maybe this drag skit was his idea. Hummm…), and the show’s announcer who adopted a short haired, gravelly voiced persona that was a familiar New York City type. And the director’s portrayal of his “wife” was hilarious. I loved it, thanks for putting it on the Forum page. I think your right about some of them being really in touch with their femme side but on the other, hand you go girls. The two were very passable, I’m jealous.
