my_tgfIf you’re a registered TGForum user be sure you keep your Profile up to date. We get notices when the site has attempted to send a message and the user’s email address is not current. If you don’t update your email address when you change it you may miss important messages from TGF. Other users may have tried to send you a Friend Request or a message and if your email address is wrong the message won’t get through.

To update your email address put your cursor over My TGForum. Click on Profiles in the drop down menu. Put your cursor over the Profile tab and select Profile Details. Scroll down and you will see “Your email address.” Enter your new email address in the text area and click the Save button.

The Profile Details page is also where you can find your user tag and change your password.

Also accessible through the Profile tab are your Community Settings. Put your cursor over the Profile tab and select Community Settings. On the Settings page you can add some information about yourself that you would like to share with TGF users. You can also chose who you wish to be able to see your information. Keep in mind, if you select Nobody then you will be invisible to others on TGF and may not be able to make any friends. The Settings page also lets you enter your hometown and country if you like.

Check your Profile today and make sure it’s up to date.

For important notices from TGForum sent directly to your email address you should be registered for our Mailing List. Every Monday you will get a notice about the New Content posted on TGF. If you’re not signed up for the Mailing List you can sign up here.
