Monday News Header

Hi my little cupcakes and Happy Labor Day! Your editor has been up late working on this morning’s edition of TGForum and I am happy to present it to you now.

First we offer Ronnie Rho’s enlightening TWIT Notes. With items from all the TG news that’s fit to be called TG news Ronnie takes us on a trip through the headlines from all the TGs who are popping up on reality TV, to they way the Democratic Party treats LGBT issues, to the closing of San Francisco’s Tranny Shack — it’s all in the TWIT.

Next up Renee offers her excuses as to why she didn’t have her post in for last week’s edition. It seems she had her first day on the job as a female last week… and some other interesting and just plain unfun stuff happened, too. Forget the unfun stuff, that first thing was a big enough excuse. Read how her week went in this edition’s blog from Renee.

Speaking of TWIT Notes bringing you interesting and informative articles…it can also inspire an editor to write an opinion piece. Last week TWIT had a link to MSNBC’s web site and a series of videos they did on two people who were born male, lived as women after SRS (one for 20 years) and then went back to living as male. I ‘ve reached my own conclusions about these people but I want to know what you think. Read Constant Changes? and watch the videos then get busy with those comments.

Finally we make landfall in a pirate cove as our resident TG Historian Michelle Moore covers two female pirates who crossdressed while they hoisted the mainsail and keel hauled their cutlasses, or something of a nautical, piratical nature. TG History tells the story of Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Scupper the belaying pins and avast yee, matey! Pirates!

As always, click the links in this post to go to the stories or use the menu pulldown.
