Here’s Your Monday TG Bailout
Just as the government bails out Wall Street firms and failing banks, TGForum is here to bail you out … of the doldrums, with all the TG related content you can read. And we do it every Monday. This week we start off our Monday Edition with This Week In Transgenderism. Silly really when most of the news items our hard working News Editor Ronnie Rho digs up have all, by necessity, happened in the last few days, meaning the column title should be Last Week In Transgenderism. LWIT? Nah, we’ll stick with TWIT!
Next up on the roster is a real treat, it’s the 10th Anniversary of Pamela DeGroff’s Perpetual Change column. Pamela looks back fondly on ten years of covering TG music and tells you who some of her favorites where and how the column originated and evolved. Don’t miss the 10th Anniversary chapter of Perpetual Change.
Our newest TGF contributor Gina Vizavi heard about the Liberty Conference in Philadelphia and decided that she should go to check it out. Since it was her first time at a big event we asked her to do a report on the Conference and give us her impressions. Here’s what she thought in A Day at Transgender 2009 — The Liberty Conference.
Rounding out today’s offering we bring you Chapter 37 of Hebe Dotson’s long running TG tale, Theresa. While it hasn’t run quite as long as Pamela DeGroff’s column, Theresa had it’s beginnings nine years ago in the story titled Juliet. The lead character in that tale is a young lad who wants to play the role of Juliet in his boarding school’s production of Romeo and Juliet. What boy wouldn’t? And to prepare for the role he is given permission to dress as a female for the whole school year. Sounds reasonable to me. Now, that young boy has grown into a lovely young woman who is about to have her SRS. What’s going to happen to Theresa? You’ll have to read Chapter 37 to find out.
That’s our Monday Edition. Remember, we value your comments and suggestions. Either use the comment box below each post or send me an email. Enjoy!
