Monday News Header

Hey ho my TGF chums! Now there’s a word you don’t hear that often. Not since the 1950s editions of the Hardy Boys, at least. But that’s all behind us now and it’s a Monday in the 21st century. I’ll let my household robot Rosie (she’s just a dream at getting all the chores done) take care of the house while I take some time to let you know what we’ve got for you today.

First up is TWIT Notes with scads of news featuring TGs from all around the world. Miss Ronnie Rho has worked overtime to bring us links to everything from the 16 year old German TS who had her surgery when she was 12 and is now poised to become the next Hannah Montana to he Brit who liked to show off his frilly stuff to passing trains, the TG flavored character on HBO’s vampire show True Blood, the victory in the Diane Schroer case and a lot more.

Speaking of Diane Schroer, Miss Rho has obtained an exclusive interview with Ms. Schroer and you will find it right after TWIT Notes.

Scroll down below that and we offer Perpetual Change by Pamela DeGroff. This column features a profile of TG banjo player Julie Olivia Buse. If you never heard of a TS playing Bluegrass music — you have now. Sadly Pamela brings us an obituary in the second part of her column. Musician and composer Stacey Fail Tessler passed away while on vacation.

Renee Knipe contributes a blog this week that addresses a situation you may have had to go through yourself. Someone you know who has transitioned sits there and says nothing while someone in her party denigrates TGs. What would you do? Read how the incident affected Renee in her latest blog.

Last up for this week is an article on that new capital of gender reassigment Bala Cynwyd. Where’s that you say? Find out all the details when you read Bala Cynwyd — New Center for SRS?

This week we also bring back JoAnn Robert‘s statement of support for Presidential Candidate Barack Obama. Over the past couple of weeks the statement has garnered a lot of comments and we have added the link to it so those who haven’t put in their two cents have a chance.

That’s it for this Monday’s edition of TGF, hot off the monitor screen. Enjoy!
